fcwebsitedesign specialises in designing gorgeous, eye catching websites that are
visually spectacular and technically superior.  We design fashion & beauty boutiques
(ecommerce), brand websites, logo design, illustrations, stock photography and
portfolio websites for hair & makeup artists, stylists,
photographers, actors and models.

We are a UK and Australian based web design CO-OP.
A group of freelancers who are all creatively orientated.
Our team consists of talented and passionate web designers, programmers,
developers, photographers and illustrators who are all backed
by an inhouse marketing, public & media relations & administrative team.

As  a client you get the best of both worlds, you deal with one
person (the project manager) and get the same professional service you
would get from a design agency however, as we are freelancers you get a
more personal  approach, one on one attention and lower prices
since we don't have big fancy offices to pay for.

work from both London and Sydney means someone is
always there to answer your questions.
We work 24/7 and get the job done in half the time as well,
when London shuts down for the day, Sydney takes over.

Who is behind FC website design?

FC website design is effectively me,
MILLA a classically trained artist, dancer and pianist.  

From an early age I have been involved in anything and everything creative. I started my first company at age nine creating bookmarks, greeting cards and story books all based around my illustrations. During my mid to late teens I moved from my sketch pad and canvas to the human face, a natural progression for me after discovering theatre makeup during my performing arts days. After high school, I completed a diploma in makeup and subsequently commenced a hairdressing apprenticeship, a career as a hair & makeup artist soon followed as did dabbling in fashion design and fashion styling, which all complimented and satisfied
my creative urges at the time.
 
However, as I wanted to someday have my own beauty and fashion empire, I decided to take a break from my artistic career and attend university to gain more skills and knowledge. I commenced a media and communications degree which lead to me working in marketing, advertising and public relations positions for various
beauty & fashion brands over the years.

I decided a few years later that I had enough experience now to start my own brand and left Sydney and moved to London in my mid twenties to gain further experience and network. In London I worked for prestigious brands in various positions from being a head makeup artist to PR through to a retail business manager. I also held various positions in top department stores such as
Harrods, Harvey Nichols & Selfridges where I gained
invaluable experience and met some great people.

I have since launched many brands for third parties under contract through my parent company THE BRAND CONNOISSEURS and my own brands under trademark. An entrepreneur through and through, there isn’t a moment that passes where I don’t get some brilliant new business idea.
